Set against the backdrop of Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach, FlickerFest is a leading international short film festival, receiving thousands of entries from filmmakers all over the globe each year. In this passion project, I have rebranded the festival’s design identity for 2023, using a retro-inspired colour palette to celebrate the various indie film creatives’ work and achievements. The psychedelic design style, quirky vector illustrations and trippy iconography serve to evoke the wonder, energy and passion for cinema.
