The Electric Gardens Music Festival is a popular Australian boutique, independent EDM festival that takes place annually in the summer. The festival has lacked cohesive branding and a strong visual identity in its past event marketing campaigns, so I have undertaken a small re-branding passion project to revitalise the festival’s overarching design identity for its 2023 line-up. This includes incorporating a vibrant colour palette of neon yellows, electric blues and hot pinks. The pulsating organic shapes (representing sonic waves) and cool gradients also serve to evoke a modern party aesthetic, with quirky, dynamic symbols and bold angular typefaces to appeal to its core demographic of young adults and EDM enthusiasts.
